Thank you!

For making our 2009/2010 season one of the “best ever” – and that is from your own words.

We look forward to having you back for “SERENDIPITY!” next season. It all begins with GMCH joining the Houston Symphony Pops Orchestra on September 1-3 at Jones Hall for “BROADWAY ROCKS”. For more information and tickets please visit http://bit.ly/ascnNF. (Address is case sensitive.) More information about the four shows, which includes special guests such as Texas Houston Medical Orchestra, will be posted soon so keep coming back for to see what’s coming up.

If you can’t wait until September to hear our choruses, then be sure to come to the Astros vs. Cardinals game at Minute Maid Park on Saturday, July 10, for Pride in the Park. Bayou City Chorale will be singing the National Anthem and Mayor Annise Parker will throw out the first pitch. Be sure to get your tickets at www.astros.com/pride and BCPA along with 6 other non-profit organizations will benefit from your presence. Hope to see you there! Play Ball!

BCPA 2010-2011 Season

If you have enjoyed the first season of Dr. Linus Lerner directing our choruses and the shows everyone has worked to bring to you, then be sure to keep an eye here when we present our next season.

With Kate Clinton finishing out our current season in June, and with words like “Orchestra”, “Carnegie Hall” and “China” floating about the rehearsal and performance spaces this season, you know 2010-2011 will be a season you do not want to miss.

Keep checking back for our announcement for our upcoming concerts. “WOW” will be an understatement!

BCPA Mission Statement
We sing to transform hearts and minds. Using the transformative power of choral musical excellence, we sing to: empower and inspire critical thinking about social justice issues through individual and community healing; entertain and enlighten our audience and bring a smile to the human spirit; demonstrate to young people the power and importance of human voices raised together in song; and nurture our membership through fun and fellowship.

Aftermath: Homo for the Holidays Review
If you couldn't figure out by the first song - a corny calypso rendition of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing!" - that the Gay Men's Chorus of Houston's A Twisted Holiday was going to be delightfully tongue-in-check you probably had no business being there.
